If you are 70½ years old or older, you may be eligible to transfer, or “rollover,” distributions from your IRA directly to Clarkson.
IRA Charitable Rollover Qualifications:
The IRA owner must be at least 70½ years old at the time a rollover is made.
The combined value of all rollovers may be up to $100,000 per taxpayer per taxable year.
The rollover must be made from the IRA directly to Clarkson.
IRA Charitable Rollover Benefits:
Rollovers may count as part of your annual required minimum distribution (RMD).
Rollovers are not included in your adjusted gross income for federal income tax purposes.
Rollovers are not subject to the 50% deduction limits on charitable gifts.
To make a gift from your IRA:
• Contact your IRA administrator to arrange the transfer.
• Contact Clarkson to let us know you are making a gift through your IRA.
